The graduate program in Public works engineering at the University of Florida is designed for practicing engineers and graduate students (Both military and civilian). It is a multidisciplinary and includes all aspects of civil engineering (e.g. construction, structures, transportation, geotechnical, coastal, water resources, waste management and facility management). The scope of public works functions include: Governmental affairs; Environment; Transportation; Infrastructure; Right of way management; Operations; Construction and maintenance; Finance and administration; and Rural and small community issues.
