Do I have to start in the Fall term?
We recommend starting with the Fall term, but you can start at anytime.

Can I include courses from other Universities?
With approval of your advisor, up to 9 credit hours may be transferred.

How many credit hours taken as a Postbac can be transferred toward my degree?
With approval, you can transfer up to 15 credit hours from Postbac status to a graduate degree.

I don't have an undergraduate Civil Engineering degree. Can I still do the Masters Degree?
You can obtain a Master of Science degree without an Engineering Undergraduate degree. However, depending on your undergraduate education, you may need some undergraduate Civil courses in order to handle the Distance Graduate Courses. This issue will need to be reviewed for each specific situation.

Do I have to keep up with the on-campus class schedule?
Distance students are expected to stay in sync within one week of the on-campus schedule. This means that you have a few days of flexibility.
