Drops
Students are allowed two drops if they have completed less than 60 credits at UF. Students may not correspond to 1EG and 2EG classification. An additional two drops are offered to students who have completed 60 or more credit hours. Students are allowed a free drop provided the number of credits doesn't drop below 12 and if filed by the seventh week of the semester.
Summer Attendance
If you complete two summer semesters of co-op, internship, or other engineering-related work, you can petition to have the nine hour summer attendance requirement waived.

College and Department scholarship applications are due in late January or February.
4/1 Program
The Department of Civil Engineering offers a combined BS/Masters program to qualified undergraduate students seeking a Masters degree. In this program, qualified undergraduate students will be allowed to shorten the time required in their Masters degree program by completing six (6) credits of graduate level courses in their final 2 semesters of their BS program or when they have achieved a 5EG classification. The combined BS/Masters program will provide a fast track for qualified undergraduate students to obtain both their BS and Masters degrees, thereby allowing these students an earlier entrance to their professional careers. Cum Laude UD GPA 3.3 or greater; Magna Cum Laude 3.5 or greater; Summa Cum Laude 3.8 or greater

You must apply for your degree early in the semester of graduation. Enter through your my.ufl account or ISIS and submit your degree application. You can also access via the UF Office of the Registrar's website.
